note from photographer:
There are many beautiful wedding venues in the Cincinnati Area, but there’s just something about these historical wedding venues that adds a classic touch, effortless romance and timeless joy to your wedding day. Hope you enjoy this small peek into one of my favorite historical wedding venues.
-the estate has 36 rooms, 19 fireplaces, 21 baths
-can hold up to 150 guests
-the historic living, dining, and library rooms on the main floor is the perfect space for guests to mingle during cocktail hour, cutting your cake, celebrating your ceremony, and is a beautiful backdrop for portraits.
"A historic estate located in Indian Hill, this beautiful venue is one of the best places to host an event in Cincinnati. It is surrounded by green space- giving you a lot of privacy but also a lot of flexibility to create an outdoor event space.
It is extremely well taken care of and their event staff could not be more helpful!
Being in the industry we have hosted many events here and have had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!"

Peterloon offers a beautiful sprawling landscape with unique rooms and lawn spaces. Be sure to spread out your events, so guests can experience the natural beauty and rich history of the site. We recommend getting ready in the bridal suite, an outdoor ceremony on the side lawn, a cocktail hour in the living room, and a reception on the new patio. This venue takes your breath away with every turn, and you will want to be sure you make the most of the space on your big day.
Peterloon offers stunning antique pieces to place your cake and favors, so be sure to make good use of these available items. We always recommend doing a site visit with your wedding planner, photographer, and florist, so they can create a timeless aesthetic that accentuates the history of the space.
You will want to make sure your timeline allows for plenty of photos both inside and outside. By walking the space with your wedding planner and photographer, you can ensure you have time for it all (even sunset photos)!
Any beer, wine and liquor served on the estate must be purchased from Peterloon.
Kitchen facilities are available for use by approved caterers in keeping with the Peterloon catering guidelines. Tables and chairs (but not tableware and linens) can be provided for up to 120 guests.
Peterloon’s front courtyard provides self-service parking for up to 25 cars and valet parking for up to 40 cars. Additional parking for up to 120 cars is available at the carriage house, approximately one half mile from the main building. Cost for valet parking and/or shuttle service from the carriage house to the main house is the user’s responsibility.
Peterloon’s staff is on-site for all events. We’re happy to provide tours during your event. We only ask that you schedule these tours in advance of the event

I’m Amber. I’m a wedding photographer, wife, granddaughter, traveler and puppy lover. I am fortunate to have my husband, Stephen, at my side as we get to do what we love, photographing timeless weddings for our adorable couples. We are based in Cincinnati, and although we enjoy hitting the road to explore new adventures, we are family-loving Midwesterners at heart.
